I’m a big fan of The November 3rd Club and happy to finally be a part of their family.  The new (April 2009) issue just came out today and is available for reading at http://www.november3rdclub.com/2009/04-2009/index.html.  If you like political writing at all, I highly recommend it.

The editors chose to include two of my shorter poems: “Akimbo” (written last year in a hotel room in Charleston, West Virginia) and “Busy Signal To Jerusalem” (which I wrote on my prison bunk in 1997).  So I guess yesterday’s news is still in many ways today’s news – and as wise King Solomon allegedly said, “There is nothing new under the sun.”  What’s that say about humanity?
