I’m excited to have been selected to perform from the Word Is Art stage at the 50th annual Columbus Arts Festival on Saturday June 4th 2011 at 2:40 p.m. For a full list of poets performing, see http://columbusartsfestival.org/performance_stages/show/9.
I’ll be a part of several poetry events this month, including another PoetryElyria, a benefit for NoKidHungry in Perrysburg and our final Lix and Kix Poetry Extravaganza in Lakewood (for now). After June, I plan to take a break from live reading and event hosting, with one exception: I’m helping organize an event in Elyria on September 24th in conjunction with the 100 Thousand Poets for Change project (more details on that in the near future). Maybe if Harold Camping’s wrong about the world ending on October 21st, I’ll get back in the game. Maybe not. In many ways it’s been a great ride.
