Many thanks to the inimitable Doc Sigerson for recently reviewing Frankie Metro’s The Anarchist’s Blac Book of Poetry (2012, Crisis Chronicles Press). He says, in part:

Editor and publisher John Burroughs done himself proud and has produced such a superb package that I am enticed to try his other offerings. The cover is fine glossy stock that seems resistant to finger smudges…. The back cover sports a perfunctory author bio and portrait.  The picture of Mr. Metro appears to have been taken through a sniper nightvision scope with a red laser dot targeting his forehead.  The book came sashed brightly in yellow crime scene tape.  It says “POLICE LINE DO NOT CROSS”.  Mr. Metro crossed the line.  We follow.

And that is only the beginning of his journey through a chapbook I’ve been most proud and pleased to publish. To read Mr. Sigerson’s full review of Mr. Metro’s book, click here.  Is it just what the doctor ordered? Find out.
